Final Hours to Join Mysteries & Myths – Help Us Unlock the Last 100 Rumours!

Hello adventurers,
We’re in the final hours of the Mysteries & Myths campaign, a compendium of over 1000 rumours for you to use in your TTRPG campaigns, and I wanted to reach out personally to give you a recap of everything we’ve unlocked so far—and to invite you to join us before the clock runs out!
Thanks to our incredible backers, the compendium has grown. Here’s what we’ve added so far:
-
100 Rumours of Guilds – Dark tales of power struggles, betrayals, and the secrets hidden within the ranks of shadowy guilds.
-
100 Rumours of Forgotten Landmarks – Haunting stories of places long abandoned, steeped in mystery and waiting to be rediscovered by those brave enough to seek them.
We’re also tantalisingly close to our final milestone of 300 backers, which will unlock another batch of 100 rumours.
Every single backer counts at this stage, so if you’ve been following along or considering backing the campaign, now’s the perfect time to join us! Not only will you get access to over a thousand unique rumours for your TTRPG games, but your support could be the key to unlocking even more mysterious content.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me, whether you’re already a backer or just curious about the project. With your support, we’re creating something truly special.
Hope to see you among the backers, and let’s make these last hours count!
Best,
Samuel

Mysteries & Myths Is Now Live
My latest project, Mysteries & Myths: A Compendium of Over 1000 Rumours for Medieval Fantasy Tabletop RPGs, is now live!
This new book is packed with a thousand rumours (and counting!), each one ready to spark fresh adventures at your gaming table.
You know how it goes—players want to hear some gossip, and suddenly all eyes are on you. Well, now you’ll have a treasure trove of rumours to pull from, no matter where they are in their journey.
And just like The Adventurers Hoard, for every backer during the campaign, we’ll be adding an extra rumour to the book. So, the more of us that join in, the bigger and better it gets!
I'm thrilled to bring this project to life, and it would mean the world to have your support once again. If you’re interested, check out the campaign here, and feel free to share it with any fellow RPG enthusiasts. The more people who back on day one, the more people Kickstarter will share the campaign with which is so important for a small creator like me.
Aside from that if you have any questions, remember you can always reach out and send me a private message here or email me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Updated Files Added to DriveThruRPG

Hey there intrepid heroes!
Just a quick update to say that I've just updated the downloadable files on DriveThruRPG for The Adventurers Hoard.
This version correctly puts a 'D20' above every loot table instead of 'D12.'
Aside from that I again just want to reiterate that if you haven't received your PDF's, please shoot me a message here or an email at [email protected] and I'll rectify that.
If you haven't received your physical copies and you are outside the UK what I would say is that shipments can take up to 21 working days to arrive. If you find that your pledges haven't arrived by then, please reach out and I can investigate.
Other Projects You Might Like
So just before I go, I want to remind you my current project 'D6 Cursed Trinkets' where we've already unlocked a number of additional trinkets for the zine. D6 Cursed Trinkets is a compendium of 6 insidiously cursed items that your adventurers can unearth during their quests.
Another project I'm helping on by doing some writing is 'D100 Random Encounters' which is now almost D200 Random Encounters, and it's exactly what it says on the tin; over 100 random encounters for you to slot into your medieval fantasy TTRPG games.
You can check out both of these campaigns right now as they're both live, and I think they're both pretty great (although I'm a little biased).
That's all for now!

Short Update + Get Your Hands On A Massive Encounters Compendium

Hey everyone!
I hope you're all well! It's been lovely hearing from those of you who have been receiving your physical copies of Adventurers Hoard, genuinely it not only makes me less nervous about copies being lost in the post but it also just brings me and Graphic Designer Sam a lot of joy hearing how cool you think the book is. So thank you for sharing!
This is just a little short update to say we are working on updating the PDF of DriveThruRPG to fix one minor error we found in the book and you should all get pinged when that updated version is available. As always though if you have any issues please message me here on Kickstarter or via email: [email protected]
But also, I just wanted to let you all know about another project that is currently live on Kickstarter that I'm doing some work for, D100 Random Encounters.
D100 Random Encounters is a compendium of over 100 random encounters for you to slot into your medieval fantasy TTRPG games. And, much like this campaign, for every backer another encounter will be added to the compendium!
Each encounter is designed to challenge, engage, and entertain your players. Whether your party is exploring a dense forest, navigating treacherous dungeons, or interacting with colourful NPCs in bustling towns, D100 Random Encounters hopes to have something for every situation.
One of the encounters that I've written is available to download and preview to see what the compendium will have to offer but each encounter will be tagged and categorised so that you can easily find the right encounter for each situation.
I'm super excited to be a part of the project and I really hope you'll consider backing it!

Fulfilment Update (Dispatching Complete!)

Hey everyone!
So I'm super pleased to say that as of today, all physical and digital rewards have been dispatched and all copies of The Adventurers Hoard are either on their way to backers or may already have arrived to backers.
This has been my biggest (and thickest) project to date and Graphic Designer Sam and I learned a lot in producing it as it was our first hardback book and equally the first project we've made that was over 100 pages. I'm really happy with how it's turned out and it's been so encouraging to hear that some of you have not only received your book but equally love it.
If you have any feedback on the book I'm always open to hearing it and as always, if you haven't received your digital rewards then please reach out to me: [email protected]
I've just finished the written content for my next big book which will be launching in August which is already 100 pages without any of the stretch goals I have planned but I'll let you all know when the pre-launch page goes live as I think you'll love it.
In the meantime, D6 Cursed Trinkets is currently live and is already super close to unlocking it's third stretch goal to add another fully illustrated trinket to the zine.
You can check out the campaign here.
For now, I just want to say thank you, I hope you really love the book and please feel free to reach out and tell me the stories of what happened when you used them at your table (heck feel free to shoot me an image of your book when you receive it, my instagram is misfit.publishing)
Until the next one intrepid adventurers!
-Samuel
