Latest Updates from Our Project:

Updated Files Added to DriveThruRPG
3 months ago – Fri, Jun 28, 2024 at 06:35:51 AM

Hey there intrepid heroes!

Just a quick update to say that I've just updated the downloadable files on DriveThruRPG for The Adventurers Hoard.

This version correctly puts a 'D20' above every loot table instead of 'D12.'

Aside from that I again just want to reiterate that if you haven't received your PDF's, please shoot me a message here or an email at [email protected] and I'll rectify that.

If you haven't received your physical copies and you are outside the UK what I would say is that shipments can take up to 21 working days to arrive. If you find that your pledges haven't arrived by then, please reach out and I can investigate.

Other Projects You Might Like

So just before I go, I want to remind you my current project 'D6 Cursed Trinkets' where we've already unlocked a number of additional trinkets for the zine. D6 Cursed Trinkets is a compendium of 6 insidiously cursed items that your adventurers can unearth during their quests.

Another project I'm helping on by doing some writing is 'D100 Random Encounters' which is now almost D200 Random Encounters, and it's exactly what it says on the tin; over 100 random encounters for you to slot into your medieval fantasy TTRPG games.

You can check out both of these campaigns right now as they're both live, and I think they're both pretty great (although I'm a little biased).

That's all for now!

Short Update + Get Your Hands On A Massive Encounters Compendium
3 months ago – Tue, Jun 25, 2024 at 03:14:30 AM

Hey everyone!

I hope you're all well! It's been lovely hearing from those of you who have been receiving your physical copies of Adventurers Hoard, genuinely it not only makes me less nervous about copies being lost in the post but it also just brings me and Graphic Designer Sam a lot of joy hearing how cool you think the book is. So thank you for sharing!

This is just a little short update to say we are working on updating the PDF of DriveThruRPG to fix one minor error we found in the book and you should all get pinged when that updated version is available. As always though if you have any issues please message me here on Kickstarter or via email: [email protected]

But also, I just wanted to let you all know about another project that is currently live on Kickstarter that I'm doing some work for, D100 Random Encounters.

D100 Random Encounters is a compendium of over 100 random encounters for you to slot into your medieval fantasy TTRPG games. And, much like this campaign, for every backer another encounter will be added to the compendium!

Each encounter is designed to challenge, engage, and entertain your players. Whether your party is exploring a dense forest, navigating treacherous dungeons, or interacting with colourful NPCs in bustling towns, D100 Random Encounters hopes to have something for every situation.

One of the encounters that I've written is available to download and preview to see what the compendium will have to offer but each encounter will be tagged and categorised so that you can easily find the right encounter for each situation.

I'm super excited to be a part of the project and I really hope you'll consider backing it!

Fulfilment Update (Dispatching Complete!)
3 months ago – Thu, Jun 20, 2024 at 02:32:25 PM

Hey everyone!

So I'm super pleased to say that as of today, all physical and digital rewards have been dispatched and all copies of The Adventurers Hoard are either on their way to backers or may already have arrived to backers.

This has been my biggest (and thickest) project to date and Graphic Designer Sam and I learned a lot in producing it as it was our first hardback book and equally the first project we've made that was over 100 pages. I'm really happy with how it's turned out and it's been so encouraging to hear that some of you have not only received your book but equally love it.

If you have any feedback on the book I'm always open to hearing it and as always, if you haven't received your digital rewards then please reach out to me: [email protected]

I've just finished the written content for my next big book which will be launching in August which is already 100 pages without any of the stretch goals I have planned but I'll let you all know when the pre-launch page goes live as I think you'll love it.

In the meantime, D6 Cursed Trinkets is currently live and is already super close to unlocking it's third stretch goal to add another fully illustrated trinket to the zine.

You can check out the campaign here.

For now, I just want to say thank you, I hope you really love the book and please feel free to reach out and tell me the stories of what happened when you used them at your table (heck feel free to shoot me an image of your book when you receive it, my instagram is misfit.publishing)

Until the next one intrepid adventurers!

Fulfilment Update #2
3 months ago – Thu, Jun 13, 2024 at 01:16:16 PM

Greetings intrepid adventurers!

It's been just over a week since my last update and I've been hard at work hand-packing and dispatching your rewards so I wanted to stop by and give a quick update on how that's all going.

First of all, digital fulfilment is now complete and you should have received your unique download codes for your core pledge and add-ons. If you haven't, please send me a private message here on Kickstarter and I'll get it to you asap.

Just remember to check the email address you have linked to your Kickstarter account as that is where the code will have went (just in case you use an email JUST for Kickstarter).

But now that you know that, here's the physical fulfilment update in the form of a handy diagram:

As of today all physical orders in Europe, the UK and Rest of World have been dispatched and I've just finished packing all of the North America orders this evening (an energising cup of tea may have been needed to help me complete this task).

My hope is to double check these orders and ideally get them shipped tomorrow, just in time for my next campaign going live in the form of 'D6 Cursed Trinkets'

That's all for today though! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me an email at: [email protected]

Fulfilment Update
3 months ago – Mon, Jun 03, 2024 at 02:47:35 AM

Hi everyone,

I'm just back from UK Games Expo, my voice is slightly haggered from all the talking but it was great to meet some of you there and equally showcase some of my upcoming projects (more on that later...)

I just wanted to update you all on where I'm at with fulfilment:

Fulfilment Update

As of this morning, all of you who have completed your Backerkit survey should have received a flurry of emails from DriveThruRPG with the coupon codes for all of your digital PDF's.

With this in mind, this means that fulfilment is now complete for all digital backers. If you're a physical backer this means you should now have all of the accompanying PDF's for your physical products.

I'm now hard at working boxing and packaging up all of the physical orders and am well underway in getting them all shipped out and hope to have this completed within a week as expected.

If for whatever reason you haven't received any codes from DriveThruRPG, or your missing one for one of your purchases, please get in touch with me ASAP so I can rectify this for you. In my experience DTRPG has a habit of getting some of these codes lost in the immaterium.

A Quick Design Error

I do everything I can to ensure that any errors are caught before my zines go to print but an eagle-eyed backer spotted an error shortly after the PDF's for The Adventurers Hoard were sent out. On each loot table it should say 'D20' above the numerical column on each loot table, unfortunately it says 'D12.'

I'm deeply sorry that this has happened as this was the file that was sent to print for the physical books. I will absolutely rectify this for the digital versions of the zine but at this point this is the only printing error that slipped past me and Sam our graphic designer.

What's Next?

So even though I'm deep into fulfilment on this and D12 Petty Criminals, and my priority is in ensuring that these get to you all as soon as possible, I have been working on my next project in the background and am excited to share that it is 'D6 Cursed Trinkets.' A long awaited and much requested follow-up to one of my earlier and most popular zines, 'D6 Useless Trinkets.'

The campaign will be launching in a couple of weeks once fulfilment is 100% complete but if you want to be notified of when the campaign goes live you can follow along by clicking here or the image below:

Thank you all so much for your support, if you have any questions then don't hesitate to get in touch and I'll update you all soon!
